On the age in 1940 that Italy enters the hostility, two things happen to the 12-year-skilled Renato: he gets his first bike, and he gets his in the ~ place look at Malena. He sees her seclusion, then grief when Nico is reported dead, the personal estate of slander on her relationship through her father, her poverty and seek for work, and final humiliations.
