The Anticipation is Killing Me!!!!!

It is Tuesday, January 29th. LOST, the best TV show EVER, returns on Thursday, Januray 31st! Seriously, can it be any longer? I know that they only have 8 episodes completed due to the damn writer's strike - but 8 is better than NOTHING! I am proud to say that I am a LOST dork, and will continue to be as long as this show continues to air. I purchased a LOST T-Shirt yesterday that will be here today (Woo Hoo UPS RED!) and I will wear with pride on Thursday night. We are going to out friend's house (Beth & Glenn) to watch the 2 Hour premiere on their gigantic LCD Big Screen HD TV - I have chills!!!

I even got my Mom and Dad into LOST! I sent them Seasons 1 and 2 and we got my Dad Season 3 for his birthday. They were able to watch it all and catch up with the rest of the world by last week. My dad even went out and purchased a Digital Video Recorder so he can record the episodes he'll miss because of rehearsals and shows at OCT. Dad, you seriously ROCK! Welcome to the LOST club, where you will be LOST, no matter what.

I seriously CANNOT WAIT!!!! The anticipation is KILLING Me!!!!

Cloverfield

Craig and I don't go to the movies very often - unless there is something we MUST see. Well, Cloverfield was one of them and I am urging everyone I know to SEE IT!!! What an amazing movie! JJ Abrams produces this flick - he also happens to be one of the producer/creators of our favorite show, LOST! Well boys and girls, you won't be disappointed!! I won't let out any secrets, but give you fair warning. It's very much like Blair Witch, in the style of camcorder filming. It's a little difficult to watch at first, so my only recommendation is to sit in the last row in the center. You will totally enjoy this movie.

My Review: Two very enthusiastic thumbs up! Fine holiday fun!!

Seuss!

Well, it's that time again - "Another Openin' Another Show!" I've been recruited to play the Sour Kangaroo in the Road Company's production of Seussical the Musical. Yes, I know, I said I wasn't going to do a show. They're original Sour Kangaroo dropped out and they were in a terrible bind. What can I say? I love the theatre and my friends who are in the show! I just couldn't say no!

This show is not like any other musical I have ever been a part of. The characters of the imaginative world of Dr. Seuss come to life before your eyes and I find it to be very amusing. Now, I wouldn't necessarily say that this is just a children's show. There are a lot of adult themes - popping pills, giving up your child, etc. However, the pure fact that it is Dr. Seuss along with the bright colors, rhythm and rhymes help to make this a show for children of all ages. The music is amazing, and hell, I get to sing and play an Aretha Franklin type character!

I remember Dr. Seuss from when I was a child. My father had this amazing way in which he read stories to me. He knew when to inflict the right tones, and how to keep my attention. This show has also been one in which I've been able to look back on those memories and remember how simple life was then. Imagination was encouraged! I still have almost all of the Dr. Seuss ABC book memorized. That was one of my favorite. Dr. Seuss was and still is an icon in the world of children's literature. May his legacy forever be remembered.

After all, have you ever pondered.......Oh The Thinks You Can Think!?
